He was predeceased by: his father Richard; and his wife Beverly Tews. He is survived by: his children, Kristene Otto and Steve Otto (Linda); his grandchildren, Erika Filipkowski (Todd), Alisha Dittes and Barron Otto (Emily); and his great grandchildren, Alex, Jake, Ronin, Ingrid, Jakodi, Thoren and Lokin. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
