He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Benedict, Sr. and Shirley Czaplewski (Benedict); his stepfather Carl Czaplewski; and his brothers, Billy and Mike Benedict.
He is survived by: his children, Joe Holzer (Becky), Tina Wenzel (Josh), Tanya Breza (Matt) and Tiffany Benedict (Sean Tschumper); his grandchildren, Bella Holzer, Ethan Holzer, Brayden Wenzel, Brynn Wenzel, Bentley Breza, Jace Breza and Ella Breza; his siblings, Patty Rojas (late Jaime), Bob Benedict (Tracey) and Jerry Benedict (Dawn); and his sisters-in-law, Shirley Benedict and Burnette Benedict. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
