He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul O'Brien and Virginia O'Brien; his daughter Erin; and his brothers, Dennis, Michael and Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Julie O'Brien; his children, Kelly O'Brien Pahman (Dylan), Ashley Schroeder (Brian), Sean O'Brien and Shannon O'Brien; his grandchildren, Charles, Hunter, Brendan, Liam, Aidan, Erin and Gregory "Callaghan"; his siblings, Teresa Manlove, Kevin O'Brien, Virginia O'Brien, Rosemary O'Brien (Jeff Scardamaglia) and Maryanne O'Brien (Michael Hancuch); and his siblings-in-law, Gregory McCullough (P. J.) and Janel McCullough.
In Lieu of Flowers, memorials are preferred to Stand in the Gap Ministries.
