It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marian Hopkins of Winona, Minnesota, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Hopkins (Dick); and her parents, Cassie Opel (Bielawski) and Oscar Opel. She is survived by: her children, Barry Hopkins (Lisa) of Manitowish Waters and Jenny Hopkins of Winona, Minnesota..

In addition, she was a member of the Friendship Center Activity Council, donating her time and effort to help with early accreditation studies.
