He was predeceased by: his parents, Toivo Salo and Muriel Salo (Nikunen); his daughter Emily Moore; and his siblings, Charles Salo and Pamela Kilpela.
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his daughter Stacie Kuehl (Jared); his son-in-law Michael Moore; his granddaughters, Abigail and Lillian Moore; his siblings, Sandie Cronin (Jack), Debbie Weiberg (Randy) and William Salo (Julie); and his parents-in-law, Jeanne Wendschuh, Paulette Barnhart (Larry), Jim Kyllo (Cheryl) and Margie Kyllo.
