He was predeceased by: his parents, Selmer Gunderson and Evangeline Gunderson (Olson); his brother Ronald Gunderson; and his sisters-in-law, Rhoda Gunderson and Carol "Trink" Gunderson.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann; his children, Jeff Gunderson (Anne) of Florida, Kristi Russell (Scott) of Lakeville, MN and Tamara Gunderson (Todd Otterness) of Winona; his grandchildren, Katie Gunderson (Cody Benedetto), Laura Cassell (Sean), Jade Wiig (Blake), Benjamin Russell, Kaleb Gunderson (Bekah) and Andrew Russell; his great grandchild Noah Cassell; his siblings, Wayne Gunderson, Sandra Gunderson and Joy Critzman; and his sister-in-law MaryAnn Gunderson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Memorials would be appreciated to St. Martin's Ev. Lutheran Church, Winona Area Hospice, or the American Cancer Society.
