He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard C. Mayer and Eleanor Mayer (Burgekowski); his siblings, Robert "Bob" Mayer (Joan), Jack Prenot, Allyn Janikowski and Jean Hixson (Lewis); his brother-in-law Wallace Austin; his nephew Kris Mulvihill; and his niece Shannon Dibbern.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Dibbern; his sons, Jon (Angie), Doug (Wendi), Patrick (Erica) and Mark (Annie); his siblings, Shirley Austin and Daniel "Butch" Janikowski (Rose); and his sister-in-law Carolyn Janikowski. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family, friends.
