He was predeceased by: his parents, John Palmer and Rose Palmer (Patzner); his wife Audrey M. Oevering; his great grandchild Milo Palmer; his sister Sandy "Mick" Palmer; and his sisters-in-law, Liz Palmer and Mary Ann Palmer.
He is survived by: his children, Debra Kleiboer, Cheryl Corey (Steve Kunst), Ken Palmer (Diana), Becky Merchlewitz (Chris Creeley) and Randy Palmer (Theresa); his granddaughter Trisha Columbus (Jordan Cogley); his children, Michelle Kleiboer (John Kleveter), Sarah Kleiboer (Joe Van), Tarah Lechtenberg (Nate), Calvin Corey, Rory Palmer (Kimberly), Joshua Palmer (Heather), Travis Palmer (Gabby), Danny Merchlewitz (Megan), Nicole Merchlewitz (Nick Gierok), Tyler Creeley (Nikki Lux), Justin Palmer, Christopher Palmer (Carrie) and Misty Rask (Brandon); his great grandchild Precious Puente; his grandchildren, Hailey Zeller, Ethan Kleiboer, Emma Kleveter, Braden Sutherland, Miekah Lechtenberg, Ander Corey, Brennen, Finley, Vivian Palmer, Josie, Maeley, Casten Palmer, Carson, Oliver, Lula Palmer, Jaxson, Liam Merchlewitz, Zeke, Porter Creeley, Ona, Emilie Palmer, Leon, Emealia, Calum and Bohdi Rask; and his siblings, Jake Palmer, Sharon Johnson (Bradley) and Ronald "Butch" Palmer (Mary). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
