He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Siefert and Virginia Siefert (Mertes). He is survived by: his wife LuAnn Boettcher; his son Christopher; his sisters, Sharon Wicka and Carol Siefert; his nieces and nephews, Becky Wicka-Johnson, David Schultz and Bobbie Wicka; his granddaughters, Aubrey Frisch, Morgyn Frisch and Tessa Mueller-Norby; his stepdaughters, Jennifer Jonsgaard (Hunter) and Sarah Pruka; his great-nephew Jeffrey Schultz (Amber); his great-niece Justine Schultz; and also, Jack and Ruby Boettcher. He is also survived by 5 step-grandsons, other relatives and many loyal friends.
Jim also enjoyed trout fishing, usually donating his catch to his in-laws, and gardening.
