He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Barum and Leona Barum (Pappenfuss); his siblings, Robert and Delores; his brother-in-law Duane Bradt; his brother Alan Barum; his brother-in-law Alan Ernst; and his nephews, Steve Ernst and Carl Barum.
He is survived by: his former wife Suzanne Laak; his children, Cindy Finke (Bruce) and Garek Barum (Tracy); his grandchildren, Madison Finke, Meghan Olson (Brandon), Garrison Barum (Natalie) and Grayden Barum; his siblings, Cork Barum (Andrea), Shirley Kamrowski (Joe), Donna Ernst and Dave Barum; and his sister-in-law Barb Barum. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
