Gary R. Grob Obituary
We bid farewell to Gary R. Grob of Winona, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 9, 2025 at the age of 87. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Grob and Grace Grob (Von Wald); his brother Gaven "Butch" Grob; and his siblings-in-law, Bernice, Norm Kohlmeyer, Glen, Muriel Schroeder and Robert Wiegman.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Schroeder; his daughters, Lenae Barkey (Dean) of Rochester, MN, Rhonda Ihrke (Brian) of Rochester, MN, Karla Winter (Mark) of Virginia, MN and Kari Hak (Brad) of Rochester, MN; his grandchildren, Kallyn, Ryan Barkey, Jacob (Claire), Joey, Megan Ihrke, Brittin, Marcus Winter and William Hak; his great grandchild Adelaide Ihrke; his siblings, A. Kenneth Grob of Park Rapids, MN and Barbara Jones of Boulder, CO; and his sisters-in-law, Lois Grob of Oelwein, IA and Sandy Wiegman of Greenville, WI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (1201 Main St, Onalaska, WI 54650). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Winona American Legion Club (302 E Sarnia St, Winona, MN 55987).
