She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Heaser (Cook) and Eugene Heaser; her niece Jaime Gartner; and her brother-in-law David Nelson. She is survived by: her husband Gavin Strand; her children, Elizabeth (Dean Cimini) of McKinney, TX, Jennifer (Doug Mattson) of Albuquerque, NM and Robert (Sarah Bly) of Albany, CA.; her grandchildren, Kai, Leif Mattson, Olivia Cimini, Mikkel and Jonas Bly-Strand; her siblings, Eileen Heaser of Sacramento, CA, James Heaser of Bruce, WI and Thomas (Barbara); her siblings-in-law, Kay Nelson of Albuquerque, NM, Leof and Susan Strand of Albuquerque, NM; her nieces and nephews, Ericka Zavada, Ian Heaser, Brynn Soderlind, Seth Heaser, Nathaniel Heaser and Shannon Heaser; and her aunt Verna Heaser of Rochester, MN.
Constance Elaine Heaser Strand, age 84, of Winona, MN, and formerly of Fountain City, WI, died peacefully on Wednesday evening, October 5, 2022, at Benedictine Living – St. Anne in Winona, from complications of Alzheimer's disease.
