It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chris William Wood (Winona, Minnesota), born in La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 8, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes and Melvin; his sisters, Debra Wood, Beth Wood and Mary-Jo Fitzgerald; and his brother-in-law Jim Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his daughter Mandy Merchlewitz (Hunter); his grandchildren, Frank, Allie, Bennett, Andrew and Kate; his sister Kay Wood-Norton (Bruce); his nephew Eric Norton (Danae); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyse and Jase; and his nephew Adam Norton (Molly).
