He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Alleven and Bertha Alleven (Gillas); his sons, Timothy Joseph and Thomas John Alleven; his brothers, Ted and John Alleven; his parents-in-law, Rosalia and Virgil Lust; his siblings-in-law, Raymond Lust, Dave Owen, Gerhard Kuchenbecker and Helen Malecha; his niece Kathleen Gerken; and his nephew Jeff Owen.
He is survived by: his wife Leta Alleven of Winnebago; his daughters, Tamara Haight (Tom) of Rochester and Tara Collins (Brent) of Minnetrista; his grandchildren, Ashley Stensland (Dan), A. J. Alleven (Kim), Jesse Alleven (Alesha), Seth, Eli Haight, Kathryn and Kristin Collins; his great grandchildren, Rayah Jo Stensland and Norah Anne Alleven; his sister Mary Kuchenbecker; his sister-in-law Shirley Owen; and his goddaughters, Ruth Scholtz, Colleen Hecht and Katie O'Brien. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many special friends.
