Marshall Merton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marshall Merton (Winnebago, Minnesota), who passed away on November 8, 2019 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marshall Merton to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Messer and Irene Messer (Nichols); his wife Lorraine Haight; his daughter Sandy Cone; and his siblings, Jack, Vernon Messer and Margaret O'Grady.
He is survived by: his children, David (Karen) of Redwood Falls, MN and Mary (Del) of Boise, Idaho; and his sister Ann Tracy of Sacramento, CA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Luke's Care Center, Blue Earth, MN where he received wonderful care or the Salvation Army (give.salvationarmyusa.org), who Mert always said made all the difference to the soldiers during the war would be greatly appreciated.
