She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald McDonald and RoseMarie McDonald. She is survived by: her husband Bing Salic; her grandchild Charlie Salic; her son Shane Schumacher; her siblings, Steve McDonald (Lori), Brad McDonald, Cindy Hand (Kelly) and Sue Greischar (Jeff); and also, Betsy Hiatt (Neil), Blake Hiatt, Emily Hiatt and Andy Salic. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to UHD Hospice or Hope Lodge in Minneapolis, MN.
