He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Hromadko and Alice Hromadko (Hanus); and his sister Donna Jean Pettit. He is survived by: his former wife Kathryn Nater; his wife Kathy of Winnebago; his daughters, Christine Ackerman of Hector and Pamela Hromadko of Rochester; and his brother Robert Hromadko (Marilyn). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.
