He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Germain and Bernice Germain (Rosol); his parents-in-law, Otto and Molester Fossum; and his siblings-in-law, Beverly Sendelbach Sogn, Laurence "Bud" Sendelbach, Rev. Otto Wedul and Dr. William Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy Germain; his children, Rev. Cory Germain (Ellen) of Fairmont and Cara Gustafson (Wade) of St. Paul; his grandchildren, Emma Hueper (Jamis), Cameron Germain (Bella Hoffmann), Quinn and Tate Gustafson; his sister Janice Irvine (Larry) of Albert Lea; and his sisters-in-law, Audrey Wedul and Marilyn Thompson of Scottsdale, AZ. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to First Presbyterian Church, the Winnebago Area Ambulance Service, or the Winnebago Area Museum.
