It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Zahl of Winger, Minnesota, who passed away on May 30, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joanne Zahl to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Yngve Lundin and Ina Lundin (Lind); her brother Yngve Jr.; and her stepfather Art Gulbranson. She is survived by: her husband Carsten Zahl of Winger; her children, Denise Schultz of Fargo, ND and Dan Zahl of Duluth, MN; her grandchildren, Marlana Zahl, Kelly Blindauer (Brett), Erica Rodriquez (Richard), Adam Kubiski, Kayla Schultz and Kelsey Schultz; her great grandchildren, Dion, Isabella, Izak, Rocco, Rhiannon, Roman, Kyshen and Ethan; and her sisters, Linda Haedtke (Pete) of Cape Coral, Kathy Christiansen (Neil) of Plymouth, MN and Darla Jackson of Bemidji, MN. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Calvary Lutheran Church in Winger, Pioneer Memorial Care Center in Erskine, or Parkinson's Association.
