He is survived by: his wife LaVonne (Moteberg) of Winger; his daughter Marissa Donner (Karl); his grandchild Emmie of Winger, MN; his daughter MarJenna Koehler (Brady) of Fargo, ND; his siblings-in-law, Orrie Flermoen of Winger and Darla McWilliam of Rindal, MN; his niece Shelley Hartnett; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jacqueline and Eddie III of Broomfield, CO; his niece Stephanie Harvey (Kevin) of Grand Junction, CO; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tylor Weston (Kristina) of Craig, CO and Elise Rucker (Lewis) of Sioux Falls, SD; his mother-in-law Lyla Moteberg; his siblings-in-law, LaDawna Anderson of Erskine, Butch Moteberg (Bonnie) of Grand Forks, ND and Punky Moteberg (Ellen) of Sherwood, OR; and his godson Alex Budd. He is also survived by his family, friends.
His students were all very important to him and he was excited to start school last Fall in hopes it would be a better year for students even though COVID still loomed over their school year.
