We are sad to announce that on May 29, 2022, at the age of 78, Verla J. Kroeker Klassen (Windom, Minnesota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Kroeker and Frieda Kroeker (Harder); her close friend John Manning; her brother Jerold; her sister-in-law Donna Kroeker; her sister Darlene; and her brother-in-law Devere Anderson.
She is survived by: her sister Orpha Wagner of Encinitas, CA; her great-niece Jeanette Breding (Jason); her daughter Jessica; her grandchildren, Elliot, Hudson of Norfolk, VA, Mike Kroeker (Jeanne) of New London, MN and Carol Maas (Greg); her great grandchildren, Jacob, Jonny and Kallie of Sweet Home, OR; her granddaughter Katie Barsch (John); her great grandchildren, JP, Everly, Kiera and Roman of Colorado Springs, CO; her grandsons, Matt Anderson and Nathan Anderson; and also, Abigail, Bethany and Caleb of Wasilla, AK.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Dr. Verla was also a member of the Kerlan Foundation and served as the Board Chair for the International Reading Association.
