It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joy Jean Flatgard of Windom, Minnesota, born in Jackson, Minnesota, who passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Gee and Clara Gee (Anderson); her husband Dwayne Flatgard (Nick); and her sister Twyla Anderson. She is survived by: her children, Kari Hunter (Ernie) of Windom, Kathy Effle (Jim) of Rochester and Danny Flatgard (Sherry) of Mankato; her stepson Dan Solberg (Barb) of Oronoco; and her grandchildren, Amy Hunter (Patrick), Jeffrey Hunter, Ryan Effle, Erin Spritzer (Scott), Nicholas Flatgard (Brittney), Jacob Flatgard and Katelyn Flatgard. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
