She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Horkey and Hattie Horkey (Kuehl); her husband Robert Mead; and her siblings, Arlan, Richard, Myron "Mike", Russell, Maynard Horkey, Violet, Bernice Grunewald and Joyce Voelker.
She is survived by: her children, Troy Mead of Windom, Chad Mead (Kristin) of Mankato and Amy Mead of Windom; her grandsons, Caleb and Daniel Mead; and her siblings, Lois Huerkamp (Willie) of Elysian and Larry Horkey of Westbrook. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
