He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Klaassen and Eva Klaassen (Stark); his wife Lei Lani Klaassen; his son Tony Klaassen; and his sisters, Lyla, Lenora, Alice and Delores.

He is survived by: his daughters, Tierney Viessman of Canby and Tiffany Riesgraf (Scott) of Mankato; his grandchildren, Payton, Parker, Presley, Abby and Ben; and his close friend Carol.

Memorials are preferred to the Windom Lions Club.
