Gladys Polzin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 18, 2025, at the age of 99, Gladys Polzin of Windom, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Berg and Ella Berg (Koch); her grandmother Gladys; her husband Laurence H. Polzin; her son James Allen Polzin; her great grandchild Rebecca Teichroew; her siblings, Henry (Ruth Berg), Irene (Endresen), Douglas Johnson, Lucille (Richard Davis), Marcella (Stanley Dammann) and Gerald Berg; her brother-in-law Orlo Endresen; her parents-in-law, F. H., Mae Polzin, Velma, Dale Mann, Mavis, Alvin Brand, Irene, Truman Hartberg, Lorraine, John Paulson, Myrtle and Donald Feil; her close friend Shirley Flaskegaard; and also, Vina and William Niemann.
She is survived by: her children, Diane (Charles Breit), David (Dabney Polzin) and Janis (Daniel Teichroew); her grandchildren, Karrie (Ignatius Kikeh), Stephanie (Matt Neville), Megan (Mike Goodwin), Carin (Travis McClelland), Kristi (Joe Rice), Jon (Karen Gleason Polzin), Erik (Kara Teichroew), Kim (Mark Pederson) and Jay (Melanie Teichroew); her sister-in-law Shirley Berg; and her friend Connie McCarthy. She is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior-Windom (1157 3rd Ave, Windom, MN 56101). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
