He is survived by: his wife Joann Weigold (Franz); his grandchildren, Dee Ann Stoesz (Merlin), Joshua, Jenesa and Josiah of Mountain Lake, MN; his children, Chris Classen (Kristi), Kaarianna of Afton, MN and Bryan Classen of Las Vegas, NV; his stepchildren, Todd Franz (MK), Ryan, Tayler of Bingham Lake, MN, Darcy Dahna (Todd), Hunter (Molly), Madison, Tyler of Bingham Lake, MN, Stacy Harland (Terry), Shelby, Rylee of Mustang, OK, Sarah Wiebe (Mark), Ashley, Jake, Brook DeWitt (Tyler), Elaina, Leah, Jessie Engebretsen (Luke), AJ, Megan, Matt, Dani and Zack of Bingham Lake, MN; and his siblings, Doris Moldenhauer, Della Regier and Don Classen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
