It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Burdell Wayne Symens of Windom, Minnesota, who passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Symens and Gladys Symens (Trei) of George, Iowa.; his in-laws, Cordy and Mona Van Meeteren; and his brothers, Delbert, Marlyn, Arthur, Irvin, Dale and Van Meeteren.
He is survived by: his wife Marlys Symens of Windom; his children, Gale Symens (Patty) of Heron Lake, Greg Symens (Lorinda) of Sioux Falls, Char Carlson (Jack) of Morgan and Kimm Symens of Windom; and his great grandchild Katie (Colin).
