He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Fruehling and Ella Fruehling (Luedtke); his wife Dolores Elsing; his daughter Carol Davis; his grandson Scott Davis; and his sister Minnie Elsing.
He is survived by: his son Rodney Fruehling (Judy) of Jeffers; his son-in-law Phil Davis of New Ulm; his grandchildren, Chris Davis (Becky), Jen Davis, Melissa Kaisner (Randy), Michelle Scott (Herb) and Ashley Noel (JJ); and his great grandchildren, Tyler, Raenah Kaisner, Megan and Ian Scott. He is also survived by one niece and two nephews.
