He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Madison and Alma Madison; his siblings, Edward Madison, Gary Madison, Janet Madison, Joan Taylor and Agnes Beckmann; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Taylor, Harold Beckmann, Phil Faragher, Dick Becker, Joe Beckmann, Gerald Pick and Myron Onken.
He is survived by: his wife Alverna Madison of Wilmont; his son Dennis Madison (Melanie) of Magnolia; his grandsons, Jacob and Lucas; his child Leslie Madison of Rushmore; his grandchildren, Paige, Blake and Lauren; his son Allen Madison (Michelle) of Reading; his grandchildren, Nicole (Tommy Sithad), Nathan (Claire Christie) and Zack; his child Lynn Somnis (Robert) of Magnolia; his grandchildren, Sierra Jobe (Addison), Adam (Linda Zheng) and Eric; his great grandchildren, Rayden Madison, Ellowny Jobe and Korbin Jobe; his siblings, Morris Madison (Brenda) of Aurora, Earl Madison (Marilyn) of Adrian, Rita Becker of Pueblo, Joyce Faragher (Harold) of Worthington, Dianne Beckmann of Wilmont and Margaret Pick (Gene) of Luverne, Minnesota; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Madison of Adrian, Marie Onken of Reading and Norman Beckmann of Wilmont. He is also survived by four children, 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grand-children.
