With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Penning of Wilmont, Minnesota, born in Adrian, Minnesota, who passed away on September 18, 2023 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Penning to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Penning and Harriet Penning (Hoffman); and his brothers, Anthony and Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Penning; his children, Coreen Slater (Kent), Angela Ferguson (Bobby) of Ponder, TX, Gregory Penning (Jana), Brian Penning (Angela), Russell Penning (Melanie) and Michael Hoffman (Erin); and his siblings, Joanne Klein (Norm), Richard Penning (Cindy), Charlotte DeChaine (John) of Bozeman, MT and Kathleen Brown (Monte) of Helena, MT.. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Wilmont VFW or the Sunset Hospice Cottage.
