With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donna Scholtes of Wilmont, Minnesota, born in Osceola, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Zierke and Elsie Zierke (Koenen); her son-in-law Don Balk; and her siblings, Doris Markman, Darlene Wiese, Diane Maas, Dixie Rigby, Glory Ann and Daryl Zierke.
She is survived by: her husband Rodney Scholtes; her children, Lowell Scholtes (Pam), Pat Balk, Cindy Kennedy (Jeff) of Pea Ridge, AR, Wes Scholtes (Patty) and Stacey Morrison; her grandchildren, Doug Scholtes (Karrie), Rebecca Prins, Chantell Paxton (Lindsey), Michelle Hall (Josh), Dallas Balk, Stephanie Pederson (Nick), Samantha Wolle (Brayden), Brett Pospisil (Katy), Rylan Scholtes, Tyson Scholtes, Tommy, Serenity, Reese and Olivia Morrison; her great grandchildren, Brayden, Alizaye, Evangelina, Beckham, Ella, Madi, Asher, Fyscher, Kaiya, Ava, Hudson, Frank, Leo and Henry; her brother Dennis Zierke (Janet); and her brother-in-law Maynard Maas.
