She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Slater and Lena Slater (Balster); her husband Lyle Schlichte; her grandsons, Kevin Schlichte and Dave Bullerman; and her siblings, Ray, Tom, Esther, Marie and Joan.

She is survived by: her children, Dick Schlichte (Denise) of Worthington, MN, Jeanne Bullerman (Miles) of Wells, MN, Judy Hoffman (Doug) of Apache Junction, AZ, Don Schlichte (Trish) of Rio Rancho, NM, Dave Schlichte (Jody) of Mankato, MN and Janet Kuiper (Brian) of St. Peter, MN; and her brother Jim Slater of Worthington, MN.. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, family prefers memorials to Dollars for Scholars or Hospice.
