Ruth Brabec Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Brabec (Willow River, Minnesota), who passed away on February 9, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul E. Korpi and Sarah M. Korpi (Mack); her husband George; and her siblings, Edward, Alvin, Niilo, Marlyn, Julia McKay, Celia Hildebrandt, Senia Laska, Lillie Schoenrock and Alma Wichner.
She is survived by: her brother Nestor Korpi (Edith) of St. Paul, MN; her sons, Steve (Ann) of Chandler, AZ, Loren (Rosemary) of Braham, MN and Tom (Sissy) of Willow River, MN; her grandchildren, Corrie Brabec (Brad), Lindy Tannenbaum (Rich), Brenda Briggs (Cory), Daniel Brabec (Jenna) and Allison DeRungs (Joe); her great grandchildren, Evan, Lyla Tannenbaum, Ben, Ellie, Nicholas Brabec, Charlie, Lark DeRungs and Augustus Briggs; her sisters-in-law, Delores Karulak (Bernie) of Cloquet, MN, Dode Brabec of Braham, MN, Lucille Korpi of Hopkins, MN and Marian Voit of Finlayson, MN; and her close friend Gladys Sundquist. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family, and close friends.
