We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2023, at the age of 67, Richard Balut Sr. of Willow River, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Balut and Irene Balut; his brothers, Dean Balut, Eugene Balut, Sr. and David "Hooker" Balut, Sr.; and his daughter April Balut.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Shelton; his children, Theresa Strand, Richard "Buckshot" Balut, Jr. (Molly), Tarra Ludford (Chris) and Tracy Wiley (RJ); his granddaughters, Abby and Tessa Strand; his children, Maddie, Reed, Mariah Balut, Leland, Liam Ludford, Reese and Teagen Wiley; his siblings, Janell Ketchmark, Bernard Balut, Bernadette Balut (Nels Jessen) and Joe Balut, Jr. (Becky); and his parents-in-law, Kristy Balut, Tom Shelton (Tammy), Tim Shelton (Lucky), Chris LaPenotiere and Mike Horton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
