He is survived by: his wife Lynda Rose Appley; his sons, William Hicks (June Shields) of St. Paul, MN, Elliot, Oliver and Jonathan Hicks (Kari); his grandchildren, Greta, Silas, Eva and Helen; his daughter Elizabeth DeHaan (Barry) of Platte, SD; his grandchildren, Anna, Sabas, Eilie, Renner and Asa; his siblings, Lucine Hershberger of Homestead, IA and John Hicks (Karen Eldin) of Houston, TX; his half-brothers, Kendall Hicks (Suzanne), Mike Hicks and Ed Hicks (Malia); his daughter Monika Schrammel (Bernard); and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Bowen.
