He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Hanson and Selma Hanson (Anderson); his wife Jeanne Audrey Peterson; his grandson-in-law Jamie Paurus; and his siblings, Jerry, Jeanette and Charlotte.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Hanson (Deb) of Kandiyohi, Tim Hanson (Sherry) of Willmar, Tom Hanson of Willmar and Kristi Evenson (Brad) of Roseville. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren, besides other relatives and many friends.
