He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Hanson and Ellen Hanson (Wickstrom); his wife Arilla Peterson; his close friend Pauline DeLage; and his siblings, Arlow, Ronnie, Dennis and Elda.

He is survived by: his son Robert Hanson of Glenn Falls, NY.. He is also survived by ses other relatives and friends.
