It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Onnen of Willmar, Minnesota, who passed away on September 15, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Onnen and Trena Onnen (Klaassen). He is survived by: his wife Eunice Onnen of Willmar; his children, Debra Nieuwbeerta (Ken) of Willmar, Steven Onnen (Sharon) of Kandiyohi and Jeffrey Onnen (Rhonda) of Raymond; his grandchildren, Brenda Palmer (Matthew), Cheryl Ammerman (Cory), Amanda Hokom (Andrew), Joel Nieuwbeerta (Lindsey), Jennifer Johnson (Josh), Matthew Onnen (Hope), Jonathan Onnen, Jordan Onnen (Krystal), Kelsey Leenstra (Joe) and Jared Onnen (Taylor); and his siblings, Albertha Urban (Donald), Darlene Ostendorf (Eugene), Russell Onnen (Marcia), Marvin Onnen (Karen) and Norman Onnen (Evie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
