It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Theresa Skaalerud of Willmar, Minnesota, born in Crosby, North Dakota, who passed away on March 29, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Boutin and Ardella Boutin (Thompson); her husband Marvin Skaalerud; and her siblings, Albert, Ward, Loren, Delores, Mary Lou, Ronald and Dallas.
She is survived by: her children, Gene Skaalerud (Tess) of Redding, CA, Mary Jo Skaalerud (Tom Goergen) of Willmar, Bob Skaalerud (Jane) of Willmar, Jeff Skaalerud (Mary Jane) of Willmar, Gregg Skaalerud (Fatima) of Tucson, AZ and Janae Langhoff of St. Cloud. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
