Sherri Jean Menk Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sherri Jean Menk of Willmar, Minnesota, who passed away on November 9, 2024 at the age of 55. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dwayne Blokzyl and Ardys Blokzyl (McLane); her close friend Duane Slaughter; and her sister Robin Blokzyl. She is survived by: her children, Samantha Menk (Chris Garberich) of Olivia and Justin Menk (Nicole) of Pennock; and her siblings, Roger Blokzyl (Robin) of Spicer, Darwin Blokzyl of Willmar, Bryan Blokzyl (Sabrina) of Atwater, Darla Shimota (Joe) of Willmar, Sheila Johnson of Naples, FL and Jerry Blokzyl (Sheila) of Raymond.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harvey Anderson Funeral Home (1000 19th Ave SW, Willmar, MN 56201). A memorial service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Throughout her life, Sherri worked in several roles, including Little Dukes, Presbyterian Family Foundation, and most recently as a caregiver at Bethesda.
