He is survived by: his daughter Kristin Schlegel (Brian) of Blomkest; his stepchildren, Kim Garman of Duluth and Karen Garman; and his grandchildren, Kaitlin Budish (Jason) of Elk River, Jason Akerson (Mandy) of Britt, Jarin Houdek (Nathan) of Eveleth, Jesika Baker (Matt) of Gilbert, AZ and Kyle Patten. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
