It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roland Johnson of Willmar, Minnesota, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Johnson and Ester Johnson (Anderson); his siblings, Sumner Johnson and Ronald Johnson; and his nephew Reid Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Johnson (Holton); his children, Lyle Johnson (Betsy) of Saint Cloud and Lisa Spanjers (George) of Naples, FL; his granddaughters, Courtney Mehus of Eagan and Kira Mehus of Lakeville; his brothers, Norman Johnson (Carol) of Tucson, AZ and David Johnson (Patricia); and his sister-in-law Joan Johnson of Lindstrom. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Lutheran Church (411 Becker Ave SW, Willmar, MN 56201). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to be directed to Bethel Lutheran Church or CentraCare - Rice Hospice.
