He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Johnson and Ester Johnson (Anderson); his siblings, Sumner Johnson and Ronald Johnson; and his nephew Reid Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Johnson (Holton); his children, Lyle Johnson (Betsy) of Saint Cloud and Lisa Spanjers (George) of Naples, FL; his granddaughters, Courtney Mehus of Eagan and Kira Mehus of Lakeville; his brothers, Norman Johnson (Carol) of Tucson, AZ and David Johnson (Patricia); and his sister-in-law Joan Johnson of Lindstrom. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorials to be directed to Bethel Lutheran Church or CentraCare - Rice Hospice.
