He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry and Mabel (Hebrink); his siblings, Donald and Arlene; his brother-in-law John Asche of Harold Ahrehnolz, Ala; and his parents-in-law, Alfred and Helen Kvernes.
He is survived by: his wife Arlyne Kvernes; his children, Jeffrey (Nancy Fenstra), Kevin of Willmar and Tammie (Tim Ewers) of Maple Grove; his grandchildren, Jennifer Hanson (Brett Kruptke) of New London, Brent Berghuis (Mae) of Northfield and Tracy Payne (Jeremy) of Willmar; his siblings, Sylvia Visser (Doward), Edith Ahrenholz (Harold) of Willmar, Gordon (Borgie) of Grove City and Dallas (Sharon) of Clara City; and his sister-in-law Arvilla Berghuis (Donald) of Litchfield. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Rice Hospice, Alzheimer's Association, or Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
