It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Robert Cordes of Willmar, Minnesota, born in Amboy, Minnesota, who passed away on February 13, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cordes and Louise Cordes (Weidenbach); his son Dean; his son-in-law Tom Lahr; and his siblings, August, Howard, Elvin and Dorothy.

He is survived by: his wife Ruth Doolittle; his daughters, Cindy Lahr (Steven Rambow) of Willmar and Roberta Mahn (Elbert) of Spicer; his daughter-in-law Cindy Cordes of Willmar; his grandchildren, Corey Lahr (Steph), Amber Erickson (Scott), Andrew Cordes (Heather), Darrin Mahn (Kassidy), Lacey Ellingson (David), Melissa Minowitz (Matthew), Sarah Rathlisberger (Matthew) and Matthew Cordes (Alizabeth); and his sister Norma Cole of Winthrop. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
