Though Richard LeRoy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard LeRoy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Halterman and Lillian Halterman (Nygren); and his wife Betty J. Martins. He is survived by: his children, Richard Jr. Halterman (Esther) of Montevideo, Michael Halterman (Dianne) of Grove City and Dawn Bombeck (James) of Hutchinson. He is also survived by four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Mary (713 12th St SW, Willmar, MN 56201). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
