He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Sutton and Mary Sutton (Kirchmier); his siblings, Frank Linwood, Katherine Capistran and Frances Mottram; and his granddaughter Anarae Schunk.
He is survived by: his wife Eunice Knutson of Willmar; his children, Adrienne "Reeny" Thompson (Dale) of Princeton, Mariana Schunk (Monty) of Burnsville and Jefray Sutton (Holly) of Burnsville; and his brother-in-law Norman Capistran of North Carolina. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
