She was predeceased by: her husband Jim; her nephew Dan Matthews; her parents, James Simon and Edna Simon; and her brother-in-law Leo Furr.
She is survived by: her siblings, Yvonne Furr, Donna Coughlin (John) and Jim Simon (Christine). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the American Canver Society, Willmar Hospice, or donor's choice.
