She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Raymond K. Proeschel and Margaret Proeschel (Starbuck); and her brother Jack Proeschel. She is survived by: her sons, Fred Luce and Andrew Luce; and her siblings, Elizabeth Wold and Mark Proeschel (Donna). She is also survived by five grandchildren.
Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
