She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Eekhoff and Grace Eekhoff (Becker); her husband Floyd L. Dean; her son James Dean; and her siblings, Willie, Hank, Frederick, Peter, Elroy, Loyis, Doyle Eekhoff, Helene Gehrke, Marie Schellenbarger and Lucille Eeckhoff.
She is survived by: her children, Sheldon Dean (Judy) of Slayton, Billie Dean of Eugene, OR., Frances Walz (Robert) of Shakopee and Bradley Dean (Jolene) of Willmar; and her sister-in-law Ardis Eekhoff of Montevideo. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
