It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Leonard P Welter of Willmar, Minnesota, who passed away on August 9, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Welter and Christine Welter (Koll); his wife Carol Anderson; his former wife Mary Ann; his son Bruce Welter; and his stepson Daniel Anderson.

He is survived by: his children, Jeff Welter (Amy) of Blomkest, Dave Welter (Shelly) of Milbank, SD, Carol Fader (Bob) of Willmar, Larry Welter (Kari) of Mankato and Julie Swoboda (Jerry) of Willmar; and his stepchildren, Terry Anderson (Susie) of New Ulm, Terri Anderson of New Ulm, Lori Hofmeister (Mark), Jane Sturm (Lee) and Peggy Anderson of Owatonna. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 17 step-grandchildren.
